 I really wanted to post this differently, with the actual photo on the top, and the altered under, but this set-up, no matter how I loaded them, put it this way.  I like format control... 

This new theme crap drives me insane. Then this phone version stinks. Don't like mobile blogging reads at all.

Still I will continue trying anyhow.

From Halloween 2012

Back then I still lived in Onset, and had my best kitty, Mischief. She was hands down the nicest, smartest cat I have ever had. I started playing and altering every pic I had time for with my PaintShop Pro program. I had a great deal of fun figuring out how to do that stuff. 

Then 3 years later, I had to move, lost poor Mis, and had no where to safely plug in my computer after frying one. 

I had a lot of difficulty reading or having time for any creativity due to eye problems. 

It has been years since I have been able to scroll through my old blog stuff, and so as I discovered images I wish to save, I decided to move  some of them over here to ESR2. The old addr isn't considered "secure"  without that http"s", and won't let me download my own images and photos to my new laptop. Ugh!

Other folks might have an easier time  adding the link for this one to the sidebar, when the old addr won't work on more updated blogs. 

I like doing my own html to control my design and content, but Blogger templates have made it stupider to change. I gave up trying to fine tune this "theme' the way I want it.

At least I can almost figure this out, to get the pics here on the phone, finally.

Yay, figured out how! 

These were paintings done years earlier, photo taken, then Altered to publish using Paint Shop Pro 7.1, which I paid a pretty penny for. I hope to find the cd to put it on the new laptop. 

Finding memory sticks soon would be a plus too.

This small one is an old fave.

On the Rocks

Rock art is a medium that's free, and many seem to have jumped on it since my daughter came up with her Reality Rocks idea.

There are drawbacks to it though. Acrylic may be best due to quicker dry times. I currently have no access to my old Acrylic tubes, and don't want to buy more. And they need a clear coat finish. Still, it is too easy to wreck them by scraping the paint off. Just drop it.

I painted a small unicorn head on a rock in 2020 for fun one day while visiting daughter's outdoor  rock painting area.

At the time, I was blind with cataracts, being unable to judge  contrast, and unable to tell when the brushtip I was holding  was about to touch the surface of the rock. 

So actually, it is a miracle it even looks like a horse-head. At the time, there was still no Big E on the top of the eye doc's chart, just a light grey smudge. Too blind to read. 

Now a friend of my daughter is going through a similar blindness problem. Another friend of hers put up a fundraiser on FB today to help come up with dough to fix her vision. Her state insurance will not cover it! 

I had my cataracts done, and it was expensive, but insurance covered alot of it. I still owe on it though, for awhile yet. Wish I could afford to help her out, because it is definitely worth it! It is like getting a life back you had given up on!

On the back it says: Unicorns are Fantasy 

 I had given up on painting anything good again, as I used to do the beautiful unicorns alot. 

 I  need to find a way to take it back. I hope my daughter's peer gets to also !

They have really made the new fangled interfaces difficult for old- timers!

I am considering making an ESR 2 on the "secure " heading. but yes, would give up the html control like sidebar links I have now.
If this (old url) is so insecure, why has it never been messed with since 2005, apart from a few spam comments?

 I don't like any of the new crap, including my phone and laptop. Going nuts here.
It won't even let me upload pics, my photos from old ESR here! ugh. 

I got 2 pics from old ESR on this hard drive before it said they were not secure enough.
